What you actually get
The iPhone pings you
You can play in the browser with nothing to install. The iOS app is on the App Store. After you allow notifications it can ping starving troops, support replies, finished building or training, in-game Tatar and artifact news, and a new round. Chat and attacks have their own switches. Android is not available for public download right now.
Arabic from the start
The interface was built Arabic-first, in the browser and on iPhone. It is not an English screen with a translation stuck on.
Hero Journey
Short levels. You steer your war band through gates and traps, then a boss. Stars pay resources. A chapter boss can pay Free Gold once.
The Advisor
Some Advisor answers each day can be free. After that, Free Gold pays up to a daily cap, then purchased Gold. The cap resets each day. It reads your villages and reports, suggests a plan, and can run the combat simulator. It does not send troops for you.
Chat
One channel for the whole world, one for your alliance, and private messages between two players on that world.
Speed
Fast worlds run from x10 to x100. The current world runs at x25. You can run x10, x25, x50, or x100. Speed multiplies production and construction.
Gold
Play is free in the browser. Gold is optional. There is free Gold at registration, from Zero to Hero tasks, and from Hero Journey chapters. Task Gold is claimed after the account is active.
