Mulkora beginner guide
Create a free account, choose a world and a tribe, follow the Zero to Hero tasks, and use beginner protection to grow your village.
How do I start playing?
Create a free account, then choose a world. Each user has one player on a world. The x10, x25, x50, and x100 presets release the Tatar faction after 36, 28, 21, and 14 days, and new-player registration closes after 7, 5, 4, and 3 days. Staff can customize a world. The world card shows "Opens in" or "New round in". The round ends when a World Wonder reaches level 100.
How do I choose a tribe?
Choose one of four: Romans, Germanic, Greeks, or Arabs. Tribe does not change resource production.
Where is my first village, and what does it start with?
At registration, choose 1 of the map's 4 quadrants. A random quadrant is used if the choice is not valid. Placement does not depend on tribe. Your first village is the capital: a level 1 Main Building, 1300 of each resource, storage for 1500, and no troops. All 18 fields start unbuilt: 4 fixed types and 14 plots whose type you choose. Some worlds give a developed start instead, such as higher fields and buildings, a wall, starting troops, and more resources.
How long is beginner protection, and what does it block?
The default is 24 hours, and the world can change it. It blocks ordinary attacks when the attacker or the target is protected. It does not block reinforcements, movement between your own villages, attacks on empty nature oases, or attacks on live Artifact origins. Tatar and special-village targets follow their own rules. Extra protection, also called vacation mode, can be bought with Gold.
What is Taskmaster: Zero to Hero?
It is a guided campaign from fields and buildings through troops, economy, alliance, expansion, Barbarians, and the endgame. The current catalog has 257 tasks, and your branch has 250 to 252. Graduation means claiming every eligible core-path task, ending with the storage and field ladder that takes two fields of each resource to level 20, then claiming the graduation task.
What are the four resources, and what is free crop?
The resources are wood, clay, iron, and wheat. Free crop is wheat production minus building-population upkeep. Troop and Hero upkeep are not included. A build is rejected if it would leave less than 1 free crop. Croplands and granaries stay allowed, and a Grain Mill or Bakery upgrade must actually improve free crop.
How do I get a Hero?
You get your Hero at registration, at level 0 with full health, in your first village. Heroes cannot be trained. Annexing an oasis needs your Hero in the attack, a Hero's Mansion of at least level 10, and that rule's other conditions.
How do I create an alliance?
You must not already belong to one. The tag is unique on this world, between 3 and 25 characters. The full name is optional and, if you set it, the same length. Capacity starts from the highest Embassy level in your villages, with a minimum of 1 member.
How do I found my second village?
You need 3 settlers from your tribe. Founding costs 750 wood, 750 clay, 750 iron, and 750 wheat. Culture points are a requirement, not a payment. The requirement is scaled by the world's base culture-point setting. With a base of 2000, the second village requires 2000 points.
How do I win the world?
Raise the World Wonder to level 100. When that level completes, the round ends and the owner of the Wonder village wins.
