The game uses the shortest direct or edge-wrapped map distance and the slowest unit in the contingent. Travel speed is affected by the world's movement setting, the source village's Tournament Square, and the Troop Speed Artifact; the general world-speed setting cancels out and adds no extra movement boost. Travel seconds are the ceiling of distance divided by effective speed, multiplied by 3600.
