The world sets the protection duration; the base price is shared across all worlds. Each activation costs the base multiplied by its activation number: 1 for the first, 2 for the second, 3 for the third, and so on, then converted to the current Gold charge. Registration protection is free and does not count as an activation. Turning protection off uses the current base price. The displayed charge can be zero when the shared protection price is zero.
