The Tatar Age in Mulkora
The world is calm, then the Tatars arrive. Whoever builds the Wonder takes the throne.
- Start with a village in a calm world
- The Tatars arrive at the end
- A Tatar arena around their villages
- Alliances unite
- The throne goes to the Wonder builder
The Tatar Age is not a website name here: it is the last chapter of every Mulkora world. This is that story as a player lives it, from the calm days, to the Tatar arrival, to a throne that goes to whoever builds the World Wonder.

Before the Tatar Age: a calm world
You start with one village and one of four tribes: Arab, Roman, Greek or Germanic. Then the simple story begins: wood, clay, iron and crop fields, buildings rising, the first soldiers in the barracks. You meet neighbors in world chat, join an alliance, raid nearby oases and villages, and learn from the reports. The Hero Journey takes you through short levels, tasks give free Gold, and the advisor answers in Arabic. Every veteran knows the calm ends.
The world grows and alliances form
Villages grow, new ones appear, and alliance borders become clear lines on the map. Who protects whom, who has the biggest attack army, who has chiefs ready? On the current x25 world this stage passes faster, with less waiting, but the decision is the same: everything you build is preparation for the end of the world.
The day the Tatars arrive
After the days set for the world, the game creates thirteen Tatar villages at once and posts global news to every player. On the iOS app you can choose to be notified of the Tatar announcement. The Tatar capital lands at the center or the nearest free tile, and twelve Tatar villages are planned three per quarter; one can land in another quarter when its own quarter is full.
The Tatar arena fills up
The ground around the Tatar villages becomes the Tatar arena, where every army heads. The twelve villages are guarded by troops no player can train: six regular units, a ram and a catapult, deliberately stronger than many player units. Players test the fight in the Battle Simulator first, then send alliance armies in waves until the garrison falls. The capital in the middle cannot be conquered.
Alliances unite
Alliances that used to fight sign non-aggression pacts with each other, because winning takes a Tatar village, a Wonder and a long defense. Roles split: attack armies break the garrison, one player carries the chiefs, reinforcements station in the captured village, and merchants keep resources flowing. Live alliance chat is the war room.
The voices of the Tatar Age
World chat is live with every player; alliance chat holds the plans; direct messages carry the quiet deals. On the iOS app, with notifications on, a new direct message can reach you even at midnight with a wave on the way.
The moment of capture
The attack must defeat every defender, with at least one chief surviving. Each eligible attack lowers allegiance; at zero the village passes to the chief's owner, unless the source village already has two child villages. The village stays special after capture, with its Wonder site, and the alliance turns from attack to building and defense.
The throne: the Wonder
No crown is handed out for points. The throne goes to whoever builds the World Wonder in a special Tatar village and raises it to level 100. Population, attack points and rank stay in the statistics and the honor roll. The Wonder grows before your eyes, in stages painted for each tribe, and the whole alliance works for one village.
Tatar waves against the Wonder
At set levels a wave leaves the Tatar capital with rams and catapults aimed at the Wonder, and these milestones come closer as the Wonder nears 100. Stationed reinforcements fight each wave and eat the village wheat, so members keep sending crop and resources.
The end of the round
When level 100 completes, the round ends and the Wonder owner is declared the winner. The winner receives the full victory reward in Gold; with at least two other alliance members, each of them also gets bonus free Gold worth a tenth of the prize, on top of it. Chat stays open for seven days; the world usually resets at least a week later (the game team can change that time), and a new story begins.
How to prepare
Start early: an economy that can feed a big army, an active alliance, and chiefs ready before the Tatars arrive. Know where you stand from the map center; the Tatar capital appears near it. Test every big hit in the Battle Simulator, and have a wall and reinforcements ready before the first wave.
Your tribe in the Tatar Age
Each tribe has its own wall: the City Wall for Romans, the Earth Wall for Germanic players, the Palisade for Greeks and the Sandstone Wall for Arabs. When you build the Wonder, it is drawn in your tribe style and changes with every stage.
The Tatar Age for free
Mulkora is free to play in the browser or on iOS, with lots of free Gold from tasks and the Hero Journey. Bought Gold is optional. The advisor answers questions about your plan: some free messages every day, then more paid from your free Gold up to a daily limit, then bought Gold.
Mulkora is an independent game
زمن التتار, ساحة التتار, عرش التتار, حرب التتار and Tatar War are also names of other games and sites. Mulkora is an independent game: it is not one of them, not affiliated with them, and not anyone's official version. Here the words describe the story inside Mulkora: the Tatar arena is the ground around the Tatar villages, and the throne is the Wonder victory.
