Game World questions and answers
These are the published Game World questions, with the answer under each one.
Can one user create more than one player on the same world?
No. Each user may have only one player on each world.
Can the world list be viewed before login, and how is it ordered?
Yes. The world list is public for login and selection screens and can be filtered by active status. Worlds are shown with the newest start date first, so a world that is about to open appears at the top. It is listed early with its opening countdown, but it cannot be joined until it opens.
How can I hear when a coming world opens?
After you sign in, the card of a world counting down to its opening shows how. In the Mulkora app, turn on notifications from that card and you get an alert when the world starts; if you refused notifications before, allow them in your phone settings. On the website, the card links to our Telegram channel, where we post when worlds open.
How does the training-speed setting work?
A unit's base training time is divided by the training-speed setting, so a higher value means faster training. The default setting is 200.
How is troop and merchant travel speed calculated?
Troops use the slowest unit in the group multiplied by the movement-speed setting. Merchants use their tribe's merchant speed with the same setting. Travel distance and speed are converted into a duration in seconds.
How long does beginner protection last?
Protection starts at the player's registration time and lasts for the duration configured for that world. The default duration is 24 hours.
How long does vacation protection last, and how does it work with beginner protection?
Vacation protection is the protection you buy on the protection page. It lasts the number of hours the world sets, counted from the moment you activate it. You are protected for whichever lasts longer, your beginner protection or your bought protection, so cancelling bought protection does not end beginner protection. The page lets you activate protection only when you are not already protected, and cancel it while it is active.
How much free Gold does a new player receive?
Starting free Gold uses the shared reward setting and current Gold conversion across all worlds. The amount is calculated when you register.
If I activate protection, are attacks already on the way stopped?
No. Protection only stops attacks sent while it is active. An attack that was already on its way when you activated protection still arrives and is fought normally. Protection also never covers Wonder villages. The protection page shows a warning about both.
What determines a merchant's carrying capacity?
Capacity starts from the tribe's merchant capacity, then applies the market setting and Trade Office bonus. World speed does not multiply carrying capacity a second time.
What does a new player's first village start with?
Your first village starts as the capital. By default it has a level 1 Main Building, 1300 of each resource, storage for 1500 of each resource and no troops, and all 18 fields start unbuilt: 4 fixed resource types and 14 plots whose type you choose. A world can instead be set up to give new villages a developed start, such as higher field and building levels, a wall, starting troops and more starting resources.
What does a world truce block?
Until the truce ends, outgoing attacks, raids, and spy missions are blocked. Reinforcements are not blocked, and neither is a mission sent to an empty Nature oasis. Barbarian Camps follow the world's setting: by default the truce blocks attacks on them too, but a world can keep camps open to attack during the truce.
What does beginner protection prevent?
Protection blocks ordinary player attacks when either the attacker or target is still protected. It does not block reinforcements, movement between a player's own villages, attacks on empty nature oases, or attacks on live Artifact origins; Tatar and special-village targets follow their own rules. Barbarian camps follow their camp policy, which by default lets a protected player attack them.
What does world speed change?
World speed multiplies production and construction. Movement instead uses the movement-speed setting and the slowest troop or merchant. New worlds default to the balanced x10 preset, with x25, x50, and x100 options.
What happens when I select a world, and why can selection fail?
Selecting a world takes you to the player you registered there. It fails when your account has no registered player in that world.
What is the default world duration, and when does registration close?
The x10, x25, x50, and x100 presets release the Tatar faction after 36, 28, 21, and 14 days, and close new-player registration after 7, 5, 4, and 3 days. The round ends when a World Wonder reaches level 100. Staff can customize a specific world.
When does a new world open, or a new round start?
The world card shows it. A world that is about to open is listed early with an "Opens in" countdown and its opening date; you can join once it opens. A world whose round has ended shows a "New round in" countdown while its new round is scheduled.
When does the Tatar faction appear?
The Tatar release is scheduled after the configured world-duration days. When it fires, the Tatar faction's villages are created, its state becomes active, and global news is shown to players.
Will I be told when a new world opens?
Yes, in the Mulkora app with notifications allowed. Every account hears about new worlds, so you only need one account. You get a phone alert when a new world's opening date is set (and again if that date changes), when it opens, when a world's round ends, and when a world starts a new round after a reset. Each alert names the world, and times are shown in Mecca time. In Phone notifications settings, New worlds turns off the alerts about opening dates, openings and round ends, and New round after any world reset turns off the reset alerts. These news items are not sent by email.
