Win Conditions questions and answers
These are the published Win Conditions questions, with the answer under each one.
Can a player win through population, military points, or rankings?
No. Those values affect rankings and the honor roll only. Completing the World Wonder is the sole way to win the round.
Can I use Reward Bank items or Smart Resource Fulfillment for a World Wonder level?
Yes. The World Wonder is treated like any other building. When the Wonder village is short of resources for the next level, the Get resources button can fill the gap with resource items from your Reward Bank first and, if you choose, item bundles bought with Gold. The button appears only while the village's storage can hold the level's cost, a builder is free and the world has not ended. Smart Time still cannot speed up the Wonder.
Can players start new tasks after the round ends?
No. After victory is declared, new gameplay tasks are blocked, including construction, training, movements, trading, and premium tasks. Only the scheduled world-reset task remains allowed.
Can Smart Time accelerate the World Wonder?
No. The World Wonder is the only building excluded from Smart Time, and a construction queue containing it cannot be accelerated. Other eligible construction, troop training, research, and troop upgrades can be accelerated in a special village; Residence and Palace remain eligible. Smart Time is still unavailable to Tatar players and in oases.
Does the World Wonder occupy several synchronized slots?
The World Wonder occupies 1 position and is upgraded as 1 building.
How does a player win the world?
A player wins by upgrading the World Wonder to level 100. When that level completes, the round ends and the owner of the Wonder village is declared the winner.
How much does each World Wonder level cost, and how long does it take?
Every level has a fixed cost that world settings do not change, and the cost rises steadily. Level 1 costs 66,700 wood, 69,050 clay, 72,200 iron and 13,200 crop; level 50 costs 252,020, 260,900, 272,800 and 49,875; level 100 costs 1,000,000 of each of wood, clay and iron and 193,630 crop. The base build time grows from 2 hours 30 minutes at level 1 to 27 hours 31 minutes 30 seconds at level 100. The real time is the base time divided by the world speed and then shortened by the village's Main Building, as for any building: half the base time at Main Building level 20. The Wonder's building page shows the exact cost and time of the next level.
How much Gold do the world winner and their alliance receive?
The owner of the winning World Wonder receives the current shared victory reward as paid Gold, added to the total balance. When the alliance has at least 2 other members besides the winner, each of them also receives free Gold worth one tenth of that reward, converted and rounded to the nearest whole Gold separately. A positive share gives at least 1 Gold. With fewer than 2 other members, no alliance share is paid.
Is victory Gold credited as free or paid Gold?
The winner's prize is credited to the paid Gold balance and total balance. The alliance-member share is credited to the free Gold balance and total balance.
What do I need before I can build or upgrade the World Wonder?
You need a Wonder village and, in it, the full cost of the next level in stock. The Wonder needs no other building first, not even a particular Main Building level. Because a village cannot store more than its Warehouse and Granary hold, they must be large enough for each resource of the level's cost: 72,200 for level 1 and 1,000,000 by level 100, with 13,200 crop for level 1 and 193,630 by level 100. As with any building, a builder must be free and the village must still have at least 1 free crop per hour after the level's added population.
What does a player see after the world ends?
When the world ends, the Statistics screen gains a Winner tab that shows the winners.
What happens to queues and in-flight tasks when someone wins?
Everything still waiting in the queue — builds, training, attacks and other movements — is cancelled at the moment of victory, and nothing new can be started. A task the server was already carrying out at that exact instant either finishes or is undone entirely; nothing is left half-done. The world then stays open, frozen, until the reset, at least a week after the victory.
What is the maximum level of the World Wonder?
The maximum level and victory threshold is exactly 100.
When does the world reset after a victory?
Normally at least a week. The reset is scheduled for whichever is longer: the delay configured for that world or the 7-day post-game lounge. Chat stays open for 7 days after the victory. The game team can change the time; whenever a new round is scheduled, the world card shows its "New round in" countdown.
Why doesn't my Wonder picture change with every level?
The Wonder has a new picture at level 1 and then at every fifth level (5, 10, 15 and so on up to 100). Levels in between show the last picture reached, so an upgrade from level 6 to 7 keeps the same picture, while an upgrade into level 10 fades into the new one as it builds. Only the picture works this way; every level still counts toward the Wonder's progress and the level 100 victory.
