Live Chat questions and answers
These are the published Live Chat questions, with the answer under each one.
Can an Advisor plan bring resources from my other villages?
Yes, if the plan has a Gold budget. When a level in a plan would wait half an hour or more for resources, the Advisor looks at what your other villages can spare and sends some of it, using their own merchants, so the level can start sooner. A village always keeps at least a quarter of its storage and what its own plan needs in the next two hours. Each look is paid from the plan's Gold budget at its real cost, never more than one answer's maximum, like an answer: free Gold first within the daily limit, then bought Gold. If no village can help, it costs nothing. The plan card shows what was sent and when it arrives, and how much of the budget went to thinking and to resources. You can turn this off on the card. With no budget the plan never does it.
Can an Advisor plan upgrade my troops' attack and defense?
Yes. Ask the Advisor to take a troop's attack or defense to a level, for example your Legionnaires' attack to level 3. The troop must be researched in that village. The plan lists the upgrade levels as one task, and adds the Smithy (attack) or Armoury (defense) levels each upgrade needs, because each upgrade level needs the building at least at that level. Upgrades run in the Smithy or Armoury beside your builders, one at a time in each, so they never hold up your buildings. You approve, stop or cancel the plan as you do for buildings, and with a Gold budget the plan can cover missing resources for an upgrade too.
Can I delete a message I sent in chat?
You can delete your own messages in world, alliance and direct chat at any time, even if you are muted or the conversation is read-only. The message keeps its place in the conversation but shows "This message was deleted." instead of its text, and that is different from the notice shown when a moderator removes a message. Deleting a message cannot be undone. If someone is sitting your account, they can delete only the messages they sent themselves, and only while they may send.
Can I edit a chat message after I send it?
Yes. You can edit your own message for 15 minutes after you send it, in world, alliance and direct chat. The new text follows the same content rules as sending, and the message shows an edited label. Mentions stay as they were when you sent it, and replies show the current text. Other players cannot see earlier versions. A message that was removed cannot be edited, and you cannot edit while you are muted or the conversation is read-only. If someone is sitting your account, they can edit only the messages they sent themselves.
Can I read alliance messages from before I joined?
No. Your alliance history begins at your current join point. Leaving or being removed ends access immediately, and rejoining starts from a new boundary without reopening older messages.
Can I send a voice message in chat?
Yes. Tap the microphone in the message box to record, listen to it, and send it, or attach an audio file (up to 10 MB). A voice message can be up to 5 minutes long, and a message carries one voice message with no images. The server converts it so everyone can play it. Voice messages follow the same rules as images: they are not available where media is turned off, and they are not shown after the message is removed. If your device cannot record or microphone access is blocked, the microphone is hidden, and you can still attach an audio file. If the server cannot convert audio, voice recording and audio uploads are unavailable.
Can Mulkora staff read my Advisor conversation?
Yes, but only a few Mulkora staff, and every time they open it is logged. They use it to check how the Advisor works and what it costs. Messages you cleared stay hidden: staff see only the date you cleared them. Content you report is reviewed through the usual safety process.
Can my sitter use Live Chat?
A sitter starts with no chat access. You may grant reading or sending in world and alliance channels, and sending also requires read access. Sitters can never open, read, or send direct conversations or the Advisor. A sitter can edit or delete only the messages it sent itself, never yours or another sitter's, and only while it holds send permission. A sitter who may send in world and alliance chats can also react there for you.
Can one Advisor plan cover a request with several goals?
Yes. Ask for everything at once, for example "build all empty fields, raise every building below 10 to 10, then the Warehouse to 15", and the Advisor prepares one plan with up to 12 goals for that village, in your order. Empty fields become new fields of the kinds you choose (for example 5 iron, 4 wood and 3 clay); the Advisor can suggest a split. "Every building below 10" means each building standing in the village now; a building the plan adds is not included. The plan lists what each goal needs, such as storage or croplands, once for all goals. If one goal is not possible, for example a field above 10 outside your capital, the Advisor's answer says why and the other goals are still planned. You approve, stop or cancel it as any other plan.
Does an Advisor plan spend my Gold?
Only if you give it a Gold budget. When you approve a new plan you choose how much Gold it may use to skip waiting for resources, and you can change it later on the plan's card. The choices come from the plan itself: none (the default), enough for its first level expected to wait for resources, about half, or all of them, or any amount you type up to the Gold you have; the card shows which levels your budget is expected to cover. A goal added to an existing village plan uses that plan's budget. When an approved level is only waiting for resources and a builder is free, the plan first uses resource items you already own from the Reward Bank, then buys the cheapest item bundles with Gold, never more than what is left of the budget in total, and then builds the level. If the missing resources cost more than what is left, it buys nothing and waits for production. Stopping or cancelling the plan, or lowering the budget, stops any further spending; a purchase already under way can still finish, within what was left of the budget when it began. The card shows the Gold used out of the budget, and your Gold history marks it as spent by the Advisor. The same budget also pays for the Advisor looking for resources in your other villages when a level would wait long. With no budget the plan never spends Gold or items, and running and waiting cost nothing.
How do Advisor plans work?
When you ask the Advisor for a building or fields goal, it shows a proposal under its answer instead of playing the goal for you. Preparing a plan is a paid answer, even while you have free answers, so it needs Gold. The card lists the plan as tasks, such as Wall 1→20, including the storage, buildings or croplands the goal needs and which goal each is for. Nothing is built until you approve. You choose the tasks to run (all are ticked), or for one big goal how far to go first, for example to level 10 or straight to 20; what those levels need comes with them, and you can approve the rest later. Each village has one plan: a new goal joins it while that plan is still going. If the plan is paused, the card says so and offers Resume; approving still joins it, and building starts when you resume. Once that plan has ended, a new goal starts another. Plans of different villages run at the same time. While a plan is running it starts every approved level as soon as a builder is free, fields and buildings at once when your tribe has two builders, and the Advisor’s Plans list (beside chat on wide screens, under Plans on phones) shows one row per village plan with running and waiting job counts and completed-task progress. Open a row to see Running now, Waiting, Up next (approve more tasks there) and Done, with what is waiting and why (resources, a free builder, or the task that level needs first) and the time left. In the chat, a short line says the plan started or joined the village plan and opens it. If a level needs something the plan does not have, the plan stops and asks you, with buttons to add it, try again, skip it or cancel. You get the question itself, a short progress note every few finished levels, and a note when the plan finishes or stops: inside the game while it is open, otherwise as a phone notification that opens the plan. You can stop a plan at any time with Stop, or all your running plans by writing وقف or stop in the chat, then resume or cancel them; builds already in the queue still finish. There is a limit on how many villages can have a plan at once. Running and waiting cost nothing, except what a plan's Gold budget pays for.
How do I report a chat message?
The account owner, not a sitter, may report a visible message once by choosing a category and optionally adding an explanation. You can follow the status of your own reports, while staff notes and audit records remain private.
How do I send a chat message?
Choose a channel and enter plain text. You may reply to one visible message and mention up to 5 current members in an alliance channel. You can also attach up to 4 images, or one voice message instead of images, and where media is not allowed the send is rejected with that reason. If sending is rejected, the system returns a specific reason and retry timing when applicable.
How do reactions on chat messages work?
You can react to a chat message with one of six reactions: thumbs up, heart, laughing, surprised, sad or fire. Choose a reaction in the message menu; choose it again to remove yours. Tap the small reaction pill to open a bottom sheet with all reactions, emoji counts and the people behind them. You can also tap your own emoji there to remove it. Each player can use each reaction once per message, and reactions work in world, alliance and direct chats. Everyone who can read the message sees the counts and can open the list of who reacted. Removed messages cannot receive reactions, a muted player cannot add new reactions, and you cannot react in a direct chat with a player you have blocked. A sitter who may send in chat reacts as you in world and alliance chats.
How do replies and mentions work?
Choose Reply from the message menu, or swipe the message on a touchscreen. You can make a one-level reply to an active message you can see in the same channel; a reply cannot target another reply. Mentions work only in alliance chat and may include up to 5 current members other than the sender. Editing a message never changes who it mentions, and a reply to an edited message shows the message's current text.
How does Advisor use reports to help plan an attack?
Advisor can search reports you may access by village or player name, date and category. When several reports or source villages match, it should ask which one you mean. It can read a chosen report and your available home army, then calculate hypothetical troop losses using your upgrades, eligible artifacts and attacker Hero health when the Hero can depart. Old reports are snapshots; hidden or missing enemy information stays unknown and needs explicit assumptions. It can also estimate training costs, completion times and troop travel from your own source village, and check what your next village still needs. Hero travel distinguishes attacks from transfers to another village you own. It advises without sending troops or changing the game, and loss estimates do not predict conquest, building damage or loot.
How does my private Advisor work?
Advisor is your private AI conversation, opened with the top-right Advisor icon. It is not a player and has no village. Your sitter and other players cannot use it. On first use, you consent to share your conversation and selected visible game data with the AI provider. Your choice is saved to your account; you can withdraw it from the conversation menu, and a policy change asks you again. It can read your village snapshots and queues, reports you may access, public map, map search and artifact information, troop and building numbers, public statistics and rankings, world settings and Gold packages, game rules, your account summary and queues, and your own Gold history as your Gold screen shows it, so it can confirm what was charged (never your payment details), and use the combat simulator. It acts in your game only through the plan steps you approve. You can stop a reply or clear your conversation. Content you report can be reviewed through the usual assigned safety case.
How is my unread chat count calculated?
The badge counts messages visible after your last read position and excludes your own sends. Unread mentions are counted separately. In server and alliance channels your read position stays private; in a direct chat the other participant can see how far you have read — that is what powers the read ticks.
What content is allowed in chat?
A message must be non-empty plain text, unless it carries at least one image, with a maximum of 2,000 Unicode code points, 8 KiB, and 20 lines. Explicit URL schemes, text-direction spoofing controls, and configured blocked phrases are rejected.
What do the message status ticks mean?
Status ticks appear on your own messages. A clock means the message is still sending, one tick means the server accepted it, two ticks mean it is delivered into the conversation history, and colored two ticks in a direct chat mean the other player has read it. Read receipts exist only in direct chats — server and alliance channels never reveal who has read a message.
What happens to chat after a connection interruption?
Saved messages are not lost when live updates disconnect. After reconnection, chat reloads the history you are allowed to see from its last known position, so the interface may briefly catch up to the newest messages.
What happens to chat history when the world resets?
Chat history is retained for the round, then deleted with the round data when the world resets. The new round starts with fresh chat channels and state. The automatic reset after a victory is scheduled no sooner than the end of the 7-day post-game chat lounge, although the game team can choose a different time.
What happens when a chat message is deleted or removed?
The message keeps its place so conversation order and replies remain stable, but its content and images are hidden. If the sender deleted it, the place shows "This message was deleted."; if a moderator removed it, the place shows a notice that a moderator removed it; if it was removed without a named actor (for example when its author's account was erased), the place shows "This message was removed." A reply preview to such a message also hides that content. Players cannot permanently erase chat history.
What happens when I block another player?
Blocking prevents that player from making new direct contact with you, including reacting to your direct messages. They are not notified that you blocked them. You cannot react to a blocked player in a direct chat either. It does not hide existing messages or shared world and alliance chat; use reporting for abuse in shared channels.
When does chat become read-only?
Writing is blocked when world chat is disabled, the world is inactive, the channel is locked, or an applicable mute or slow mode is active. After game over, chat remains writable for a 7-day lounge period, then every channel becomes read-only.
Which chat channels can I use?
Live Chat includes your private AI Advisor as well as a channel for each game world, a channel for your current alliance, and direct conversations between two players on the same world. World access starts at registration, alliance access follows membership, and direct conversations are created when needed.
Which chat messages send push notifications?
Only direct chats send a push notification, provided the recipient enabled notifications and the message remains unread and accessible. The notification shows the sender's name and the start of the message, unless the message is only a picture or voice note or no longer passes the chat rules; a player you blocked sends you no notification. World and alliance messages do not send push notifications.
Which images can I send in chat?
You can attach up to 4 images to one message, each up to 10 MB, as PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF. A message can be only images, with no text. Animated GIF and WebP images keep playing in a loop; an animated PNG shows its first frame. Images are not shown after the message is removed.
Who can moderate alliance chat?
The alliance creator or a member with the chat-moderation permission can remove alliance messages, mute or unmute members, and set slow mode from the message menu in alliance chat and from Alliance, Options, Moderation, where they also see who is muted. Every action needs a written reason. This permission does not grant access to direct chats.
Why can't I send images or voice messages in world chat?
World chat images can be switched off for a world, and new players wait for a while before they can post images or voice messages there. Direct and alliance chats are not affected. Text messages are never held back by this.
